Company History:
SilverMark, Inc. was founded in 1996 by former members of IBM's VisualAge Smalltalk development lab. Since then the SilverMark team has been consistently releasing and enhancing its product line:

Product time line

SilverMark's announced its first product in 1997: Test Mentor for VisualAge Smalltalk, an automated testing system for IBM's VisualAge Smalltalk.
In 1998 SilverMark announced the Connection Detangler product, an advanced debugger for the VisualAge visual application development environment.
In 1999 SilverMark expanded the Test Mentor family to support Cincom's VisualWorks Smalltalk.
In 2000 SilverMark announced Test Mentor - Java Edition, an automated test tool for testing Java components.
In 2002 SilverMark announced Enhanced JUnit, an add-on to the JUnit unit testing tool.

Achievements:
In 1998, SilverMark and IBM reached an agreement for IBM to ship a trial copy of Test Mentor in every IBM VisualAge Smalltalk box.

In 2003 SilverMark and Cincom reached an agreement for IBM to ship a trial copy of Test Mentor in every Cincom VisualWorks Smalltalk box.

SilverMark team members have contributed and presented a number of technical papers and articles to leading industry journals and conferences.
